13 mm Clarity™ PTFE Syringe Filters feature a hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane offering unmatched chemical resistance across the broadest range of aggressive solvents, strong acids, and corrosive chemicals. These filters are the standard choice when chemical compatibility is the primary concern.

  • Membrane: PTFE — hydrophobic, chemically inert, maximum solvent resistance
  • Housing: Medical-grade polypropylene (PP), yellow color-coded
  • Pore sizes: 0.22 µm and 0.45 µm
  • Inlet / Outlet: Female Luer-lock inlet, male Luer slip outlet
  • Operating pressure: Up to 5 bar (72 psi)
  • Manufacturing: ISO 13485 certified, Class 100,000 cleanroom production

Recommended applications: Aggressive organic solvent filtration (THF, DMSO, acetone, chloroform), strong acid and base filtration, HPLC mobile phase preparation with non-aqueous solvents, gas and air venting applications.

Important: This is a hydrophobic PTFE membrane. Pre-wet with methanol or isopropanol before use with aqueous samples. For aqueous filtration without pre-wetting, use Clarity™ Hydrophilic PTFE Syringe Filters.
